We Want to Keep You in the Loop!

Observing family members and friends struggle with hearing loss issues, even though they have hearing aids, prompted Laura Hansen to research and promote Assistive Listening Devices and Induction Hearing Loop Systems to help improve the quality of life for those with hearing impairments.  Having worked in the Senior Care industry, Laura has seen many seniors isolate themselves because they cannot hear in social settings and are unaware of available products to help in these settings.

"Assist 2 Hear's  mission is to help educate the general public and individuals with hearing loss about available options to improve hearing in their own home as well as public venues and social settings.  We're committed to making improvements to public and private meeting places to help them conform to ADA guidelines for those with hearing disabilities, and to promoting Induction Hearing Loop technology in both residential and commercial settings throughout Colorado and the entire country. In our environment that is becoming increasingly noisy, hearing protection is a huge concern.  We want to educate people, advocate for access for the hard of hearing and provide products to help improve or prevent hearing loss.

Assist 2 Hear supports community and national organizations for the deaf and hard of hearing by giving 3% of our profits to various organizations.  Our goal is to bring hearing loss to the forefront of disability compliance so it is no longer the 'invisible' disability. "  - Laura Hansen

Daulton Smith joined Assist 2 Hear in late 2010 as Director of Sales and Marketing to help market and increase awareness of hearing loops and their profound effect on the hard of hearing.  Coming from the Senior Care industry with a large corporation, Daulton is passionate about helping others and working to provide better access for the hard of hearing in all venues, small and large. 

Seeing a hard of hearing person smile from ear to ear, or come to tears, when first experiencing the loop is so rewarding and is why we at Assist 2 Hear are promoting this simple but effective technology.
