"As a person with hearing loss, I often find lectures, plays, and PA system announcements indecipherable. But who else notices? Unlike someone visibly left outside because of wheelchair inaccessibility - which would leave others appalled - inaccessibility due to hearing loss is invisible and thus often unremedied."

There are about 36 MILLION Americans with hearing loss - Early treatment is important for mental and physical health

Product Description

Carry your own personal induction loop with you!  Perfect for one on one or meetings......

This lightweight,  table-top unit picks up voices and turns them into electro-magnetic signals which are received clearly when the hearing aid is switched to the "T" position.   Background noise is reduced for the hearing aid user, resulting in much clearer understanding for conversations in meeting rooms, interview areas, customer service counters, reception areas and even restaurants.

An external omni-directional clip-on microphone with 10 foot cord is included, along with an AC adapter/battery charger.  Add the shoulder bag for $39.95 to carry the InfoLoop with you everywhere!

With its own rechargeable battery, the InfoLoop is always ready for use anywhere, anytime. The battery will give a minimum of 24 hours use and is monitored at all times using a two-color LED display to show status.  The LED flashes with speech and the unit may be used while recharging if necessary.

The InfoLoop is controlled with a microprocessor, featuring the latest in induction loop technology including automatic gain control, noise gating to improve reception of speech and automatic standby mode to conserve battery life.  The system consists of a stylish control unit constructed in sturdy ABS plastic and a plug-in power supply adapter.

The electro-magnetic field extends to approximately 3-5 feet.  The unit is approximately 9 7/8" high by 10 7/8" wide by 4 3/8" in depth and weighs only 3 1/4 pounds.  There is a 2.5mm jack for an external microphone.

The InfoLoop is compatible with t-coil equipped hearing aids, cochlear implants and induction loop receivers.
