"As a person with hearing loss, I often find lectures, plays, and PA system announcements indecipherable. But who else notices? Unlike someone visibly left outside because of wheelchair inaccessibility - which would leave others appalled - inaccessibility due to hearing loss is invisible and thus often unremedied."
- David Myers, author and a professor of psychology at Hope College
Compact, rugged omnidirectional microphone specifically designed for tabletop applications.
The MM200 is an omnidirectional electret condenser microphone that is the perfect versatile tool for intereactive group discussions, meetings, conferences or one-on-one interviews.
The MM200 utilizes an ultra-miniature condenser element with a distince low-mass diaphragm. This innovative feature eliminates peak and reduces surface/viration noise by preventing audio band resonance. Its omnidirectional response and high sensitivity allows pick up of sound uniformly from all directions, thereby producing a natural sound.
Artistic design and excellent construction are combined to deliver reliable performance for live mic situations. The matte-black finish and low profile (only 2.28 inches high), provide for an unobtrusive appearance. The MM200 rests on a rubber stability pad that minimizes vibration and background noise from deck or tabletop.
